Wilcox Limousines shortlisted in 3 categories in FSB Merseyside Awards
Wilcox Limousines, the UK’s leading coachbuilder with a state of the art factory in Wigan, has been shortlisted in three categories for the FSB Merseyside, West Cheshire & Wigan Business Awards; Manufacturing & Engineering Business of the Year, Family Business of the Year and Medium Business of the Year.
Wilcox Limousines provides hearses and limousines to the funeral and executive industries and has its main production factory in Wigan. Approaching its 70th anniversary in 2018, the family-run firm is the UK’s leading coachbuilder.
Paul Wilcox of Wilcox Limousines said: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted. It’s a real endorsement of the quality of our offering and the strength of our business that we’ve made the shortlist in three separate categories. Our emphasis on efficient processes and consistently successful service has put us in good stead for the initial shortlisting.”
He added: “Our facilities in Wigan really are top class, so it’s great that we’re getting local recognition and we’re looking forward to seeing if we’re winners come December. To win one category would be excellent, to win all 3? Well, we won’t get carried away but we’ll have our fingers firmly crossed!”
The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 7th December 2017, at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool, where the winners will be revealed. To see the full shortlist, please visit: https://www.fsbmerseysideawards.co.uk/shortlist
Wilcox Limousines is also shortlisted in the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards 2017 for the Mid-Market Business of the Year award. That award ceremony is set for Tuesday 14th November at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.
Paul Wilcox commented: “We’ve done really well this year to be shortlisted in two sets of awards. While the FSB awards shortlisting is great in its own right, the national business awards are just that – national. To win would be fantastic recognition of our offering on an even wider scale, and would officially put us alongside the UK’s leading businesses.”
